The US Youth Rowing Championships were in Mercer Lake in New Jersey. With 471 clubs/schools participating, it was the largest youth championship. The Miami Rowing Club lightweight girls four succeeded for the second consecutive year, finishing third to earn a bronze medal. They are Elizabeth Ray, Isabel de Vengochea, Haleigh Prindle and Alexandra Duffy with Natasha Murcia coxing. Other MRC crews finishing in the Top 10 were: Anastasia Ray and Gabriella Morrison on the girls lightweight double (seventh) and Viking Mayor and Jacob Sorensen on the boys heavyweight double (eighth).
