If ever a unit took the “bend-but-don’t-break” philosophy to heart, it was the Miami Springs defense on Thursday night. Hosting Edison at Milander Stadium, the Golden Hawks turned away the Red Raiders four times in the red zone with zero points over the course of the night, which paved the way for a 19-6 victory.
