The Miami Country Day School girls’ varsity volleyball team celebrated one of its most successful seasons in school history. With Head Coach Michele Rosamiglia, not only did the Spartans win their 11th district championship in 12 years, but they advanced to the regional finals for the first time in the program’s history. They faced a tough schedule throughout the season to prepare for their deep playoff run. They were led by senior Brooke Pumo and junior setter Sasha Jenkins-St.Prix. Juniors Mia Paez and Indira Dandridge were major contributors.
